Spoudazo is a transliteration of the Greek word σπουδάζω.
In the Bible spoudazo means "to use haste, to strive, to be diligent, to work, to study."
I think this is so beautiful and this is my prayer for you and me. May we spoudazo to present ourselves to God. May we strive, and may we be diligent, and may we study, in order to present ourselves to the Creator of all in a way that brings Him glory.
There are periods in my life where I am constantly spending time reading God's Word, and there are times where I am not so consistent. In those periods when I do pick up my Bible to look for a passage as I try to explain something to my son, I am re-amazed by how beautiful and powerful His Word is! I pray this notebook is a help and an encouragement to study efficiently so that we may get to know our King more and more.
